BtSSB Back Shirring Blouse
I am SO SAD to part with this blouse, but I think I've accepted it just doesn't for me perfectly. I'm trying not to hold on to things that don't fit well, so this beautiful piece needs a new home! The buttons are spaced in a way that makes them gap a little bit, so I hand stitched a small snap between the last two buttons. This can be undone if you like, and I prick stitched so that the stitching would not show on the outside. However, since this is an alteration, I am pricing accordingly and providing photos. I also had to hand sew one or two of the buttons back on.
This was bought secondhand and worn around 3 times, washed on cold and laid flat on a rack to dry. All elastic is intact, no flaws other than the hand sewn snaps. It has shirring in the back, but I would not recommend for someone over a 27-inch waist; I'm a 28 inch waist, and it felt a little uncomfortable/made me feel like I need to suck my stomach in (see the pic of me wearing it, it fit on my body but it was tight and awkward). My mannequin is a 26-inch waist, and I think that's the ideal size for this piece.
