I'm also a size 8 and I ended up ordering a 40 because even the 39s were too small. I think you just have to order a size up with Cotton Candy Feet. (not a comment about the sale just general info about the shoes)

I feel like they're a bit narrow. The problem is that they're too tight around my toes.
