The dress has back shirring, and detachable ribbon for the waist. Waist ties are not detachable and the corset lacing on the front is not adjustable.
The skirt portion of the dress is rather heavy and presses down a lot on a petticoat so I would recommend a very poofy petti or hooped petti to get it into a nice poofy cupcake. Otherwise, it makes for a nice casual dress!
