I am the second owner of this dress, and I believe it was missing the waist ties and middle bow when I got it. I got it around 2013, tried it on once, and it has been sitting in storage ever since. I have taken it out of storage and washed it several times. There may be a slight lingering smell of being in a storage box, but I believe it should come out easily if you have the space to soak it in a vinegar soak, etc. I just do not have the space to do so, unfortunately. There is slight damage to the bow with the string of pearls on it, as shown in the photos. I honestly cannot recall if I received it this way, or if the brooch part came off when I tried it on. Regardless, the safety pin works. It is overall in excellent shape otherwise! It is beautiful, but just not really my style anymore.
