I am the first owner of this item. Bought directly from Bodyline back to Y2015 or 2016 that I cannot remember, shipped from Japan. I only used it about 2-3 times per year that it is still in good condition. There are some minor damage though, please check the photos for details.
I did not pay too much attention to the storage of these boots that they are a bit dusty. I already tried my best to clean up the dust but there are conners there is hard to deal with, so might need more cleaning if you care.

what girth can they accommodate at the upper calf? I’m interested but I’d like to be sure they’ll fit

Measure from outside, the max upper calf to fit is about 14 inches round. The lace-up part of the boots are not just deco so there is some room for adjustments, no more than 1 inch though, I estimate.
