I bought these a few years ago, but only wore them a few times. There is a little bit of what I suppose is glue visible where the upper part is attached to the platform - it was like this when I bought them new. The sizing is 39, which fits my wide 24.5cm (US 8-8.5) feet very well. The shoes are fairly lightweight, featuring a flat foam platform. The straps wrap around like rocking horse shoes.
