In general, it doesn't even feel like a high heel!
The bows are detachable, but a little difficult to remove. I haven't removed them since I got them, but I'm not going to try to force it out atm.
There are extra bow clips meant for the back heels, but I haven't really found a way to attach them to the back like in the photo so I've kind of just treated them like spare front bow clips.
