14" from top to the bottom of the lace, 12 inches flat across the top, fully shirred. My hips measure 33" and the one time I wore them (over panties, I don't use bloomers as underwear) I found that the elastic digs in just enough to be uncomfortable. The elastic could easily be replaced with a longer strip, but I already have another pair so I don't need these. Hope that helps! :)
