I purchased this piece from Mercari under the impression that it was in fairly good condition for its age. However, upon receiving I noticed that it was severely stained. From a distance it's not noticeable, but up close there are (large) yellowish stains on areas of the skirt, sections of the waist, the underarm areas, and the front and back neckline areas. To be frank, it looks like someone spilled tea on the skirt and never bothered to try and clean it. Not at any point. There are also areas of the skirt that appear to have bled.

I have put this dress through the wash several times and even spent hours spot cleaning, but the stains unfortunately remain.

While I love this dress, looking at it makes me feel like a Bitter Betty. Maybe someone else can find the light with this piece.
