Hi! It's kind of hard to tell in the pictures, but what shade of brown is this? It looks closer to black to me, is the brown more obvious in person?

It's a very dark brown in person, similar to the stock photo. It looks kind of black at first, but when held next to black items, it's more noticeably brown.
