Talk about a blast from the past! This JSK and bonnet set is 10 years old this year, and you're not going to find it anywhere else! The JSK was sent to me to repair, and I have been given the 'OK' to sell it. A dear friend of mine bought it from a thrift store, and it came to her damaged. The seam under the left armpit had come apart, and there were stains along the ruffle. What the thrift store DIDN'T tell her were all the stains on the lining, or on the bodice itself. I cleaned it, good as new and not a stain to be seen anywhere on the ruffle, bodice, lace, or otherwise, and closed the seam under the arm using a blind stitch. It's in shockingly good condition for its age. The screen print has no cracks that I can find, the delicate embroidered lace at the bottom is in great shape, with no runs or tears that I could find, and the velveteen is still very plush and thick. The bonnet itself still has all of its pearls, and looks like it has never been worn. While not a stiff bonnet or wired, the material is thick enough to give it some shape on its own. You can easily adjust to a floppy bonnet if you wish.
