Damaged. This is our souls on quarantine. Damaged, barely hanging on to any hope and throwing ourselves into the glory days of the past when we sparkled & shined in meet ups and events. JSK: Pink, Chess Chocolate. This gold embellished low waist dress has tiny spots, see photos. There is about 4 that I could find. The gold fringe, buttons & link chains, zipper, lace are in good condition. It's adorably cute. It's seen somethings, great times of an era gone by when people socialized and threw caution to the wind and coughed in public places. The gold print is still in good condition as well. This JSK is so adorable and those tiny spots are like the pain you have that will become the scar you wear on your soul after this lock down is over. You can still be adorable but those spots on your soul remind you not to ever again take things for granted. That's right, say I love you more, hold tighter, stay a little longer at the restaurant, work out harder at the gym, scream louder at the concert, smack talk more at the game. Because now you know that literally overnight all things can change.
Blouse: It has 4 blue markings on the upper part that are covered by the JSK. These are from color transfer of what I can only think from a dark satin hanger I had the blouse on. Mysterious color transfer like the bitterness left in your soul after an Ita encounter. Tainted but coverable with a smile.
AP Purse: Damaged and trashable but from afar on a shelf with a Usakumya in front of it, it looks cute. It's bittersweet soul doesn't cry out anymore. It just sits there silently crying remembering how life used to be as an elite Burando bag. It knows it's doomed to the dumpster and has begged to just let it sit on the shelf and serve as a mentor to the younger bags. Telling the other bags how to pose with their brand name showing front and center. Counseling them during the drop off feeling after a con. Serving as a reminder not to get too arrogant because in their old age they will want gracious and kind bag friends.
The Removable front bow. Definitely in great condition. I am including a plastic headband you can slip through to use as a Headbow.

So this is the damaged set, bonded by adversity and solid memories of glory days that have evaporated over the winds of time. I can't break the set because each piece needs the other in order to hold on to survive. Like we all need each other in this fashion right now. Reminding each other that meet ups and cons, photo shoots and events, swap meets, tea parties will all return. But our souls, changed, maybe dinged, maybe damaged but no one is trying to throw you in a dumpster. Like this set. It will go to a new home to be loved because it will speak to a soul that says, "I will take you, I will love you because I too am hurt by this life and have scars. But we will face our new tomorrow stronger together."
