I have a cat, but my wardrobe is inaccessible to him. I sell a lot of secondhand items. I note any damage/staining that I find, but it is almost impossible to find all of the loose threads/minor pulls in fabric. However, I do my best to take photos of all imperfections that I believe to be notable and I ensure my pricing reflects the quality of the items I am selling!
