Good condition. Bought secondhand, worn once. No noticeable flaws or stains / missing pieces, but, being an older dress, it does have a general feeling of "wornness" i.e. it is not "crisp". Prospective seller asked about more fine-grained details; I was doing a very careful pre-packaging inspection, so I have some more information to share:
- Waist ties definitely included, see photos
- Absolutely no stains or even piling, running print, etc. detected. I checked every inch after another run through the delicate + cold cycle, which I always do for anything that isn't NWT/NWOT even if the dress was already washed & had been in storage for years.
- Despite the fabric not being "out-of-the box" new, the mini petti inside is still very starchy and alive. Holding & feeling the piece, I think this JSK was probably worn a total of 5 times max (i.e. both previous owner and myself combined).
- The buttons for the waist ties, as well as the buttons that halter claspes on to, are not only not loose, they appear to have been pre-reinforced by the previous owner. Though this doesn't seem to be done professionally, it's very functional, and all of the threading does not show in the slightest when worn (because, of course, they're hidden by the button itself). Honestly I'd consider this "alteration" a feature, not a bug 😊 See photos for reference.
Apologies if these details seem arbitrary or overcompensatory, I figured I'd throw up all the stuff I found in my latest inspection in case anyone else had similar questions about how the dress has been used.
