A fun and summery old school shirred piece from 2002, with matching headdress that is even older! This is the pink colorway, and in fairly good condition. It did have a light yellowish stain on the left sleeve when I received it, but I successfully washed it with no running or bleeding of the fabric and believe the stain is no longer visible. The dress does have a slight feeling of use in some of the lace, but there is no actual damage or severe wear. The dress also has matching attached waist ties which are quite long, and you can see in the GLB photo they have been tied around the front into a bow.
Lolibrary does not have measurements, so I attempted to take my own.
Waist/bust: shirring stretches around 50cm flat, but I would recommend being under 100cm in both for a comfortable fit, as the elastic is in good shape and fairly strong.
Arm openings: also elastic, stretch to around 20cm across.
The neckline is also shirred.
The headdress is not a matching piece from the same set, but one I bought to go with it and have not actually got around to wearing. It is even older than the dress, just having a tag that says “Pretty”, and the lace around the edges has a cute strawberry print. It’s only in semi-good condition, as it came with a strong yellow stain on one of the bows, which I removed, but the yarn from the berries bled a little on both sides when wet, so there are slight pink stains on the edges of the lace which are noticeable up close, but I do not think would be very noticeable when worn. Please note the stains are a little more saturated/noticeably pinkish red irl than in the photos. One berry is also frayed at one of the seeds, which could be cut off or re-knotted, but I have not done so myself. The fabric on the bows feels a little bit used/dingy, but overall I think it’s still a very cute headpiece.
