I am the first owner of this skirt, which I purchased at the release in 2009.  I have worn it several times over the years, but being one of my first even AP prints, I was always really careful with it, so it is in pretty good condition.  The buttons have tarnished a little naturally with time, but they are all there and it is not very noticeable.  Both detachable waist ties are included, and I even have the original fabric swatch that AP used to include with their original prints, which includes a spare button as well.  The ribbon brooch with the hat is also removable, you can clip it where you'd like.  The skirt has a light built in petticoat as well.
