Angelic Pretty Puppet Circus JSK in Cream. The famous Puppet Circus. I originally purchased this dress back in 2008-2009? I am very likely the 3rd or 4th owner of the dress. I've only worn it two times and it has been sitting in my closet, inside an archival bag since. This dress is beautiful and a piece of Lolita history. However, I am getting older, lazier (lol), and too tired to care for a high maintenance piece such as this anymore. It is really time to let go and pass it on to another Lolita who will care for it as much as I have over the years.
Please note that due to the age of this dress, it will not be NEW. However, with that being said, the condition of this piece is very good. You will be very hard pressed to find a Puppet Circus still floating around in the condition that this particular piece is in. There are no major flaws or stains and the integrity of the screen printing is intact. There is no major/noticeable cracks in the screen print.
Fit: It is made of Velveteen. There is very little give, despite the shirring in the back. I only recommend this to someone who is a size 4 and a 27 inch waist MAX for a comfortable fit.
Care: Please note that Velveteen + the screen print means that this piece is extremely delicate. Do not dry clean because you risk cracking the screen print (though please note that with continued wear screen printing on velveteen will *always* eventually crack with age, there is no stopping it). I have laundered (hand washed) the dress in COLD Woolite and air dried it on a padded hanger (only padded otherwise you risk creating a "fold" in the dress). It has been stored in an archival grade bag inside a dark closet. The archival bag will be included with the dress.
