This dress is in very good condition. There is no specific damage, there is just a feeling of wear to the fabric, especially under the arms and in the chest. It’s been worn and cleaned many times and is my most worn dress. I’ve taken some close up photos. The metallic nature of the gold is still present in the print despite being cleaned multiple times, but I will confess that I never had the waist ties cleaned because I don’t want the dry cleaner to lose them so they are the shiniest but they are wrinkled. that being said this dress still looks fantastic and the fabric is of a much higher quality and thickness than what the brand puts out nowadays. The outer printed fabric is a woven cotton fabric, not polyester. The inner lining is polyester with the crown lace at the bottom.
The beret is in much better condition, I bought it on the Japanese secondhand market as NWT and wore it just a couple times. I have measured the bust as going up to about 110cm, which is bigger than what lolibrary lists. I’m not an expert measurer so it might be off by a cm or two but it’s definitely about that, not 100cm. I wore this comfortably at a time when I was at 104cm. Same with the waist, I measured it about 100cm. But this is a little bit of a high waist cut due to it being made for a shorter person, so unless you are short the waist will hit you somewhere on your ribs and not your actual true waist.
