Originally the waist of this skirt was smaller but was altered just slightly to fit a bigger waist. I have 30” waist and it fits, but the skirt is still kinda tight on me so I would say that it still best suits 26”-28” waist. Although I was never informed of the exact placement of the alteration, I’m pretty sure that it is in this stitch I found in the side of waist band where they probably added more elastic to the band to make it feel a bit more bigger. That’s most likely why there is partial shirring in the back as well. The stitch is outlined in the last two photos of the listing.

Skirt was given as a gift, but I never wore it, just tried on. I don’t know how many times the previous owner had worn it before giving it to me but it is still in good condition as far as appearance goes, no stains.

Skirt also comes with reattachable waist ties. I believe there is a kc that is supposed to go with this skirt but I don’t have it.

Has a petticoat sewn-in underneath, so wearing one isnt necessary but you could still wear one to give it a bit more poof.
