You are bidding on Candy Fairy OP in Pink x Pink from Angelic Pretty. This dress is from 2009. I am at least the second owner.

I bought this dress in 2016. In the 5 years, there has only been one other pink x pink CF sale on LaceMarket. Needless to say, I believe it is quite a hard to find piece. With the incoming re-release skipping out on the pink colourway, this is dress is shaping up to be quite a coveted piece of OTT Sweet AP.

It's an emotional sale for me, this dress was one of my first when entering the fashion. It has seen me through my Ita years and many conventions, so as I will detail below there is some small staining and yellowing/discolouration from age and copious long hour wears. However, my style focus has since shifted and I feel this dress isn't getting the love it deserves. I know it is some people's dream dress, so I hope to re-home it to someone who will treasure it.

Below I will write lots of detail about the condition of the dress following my inspection. Please read it thoroughly before you bid and note it's an amateur inspection. This dress is 12 years old and I don't want any disappointment in terms of it's flaws and condition.

Good points:
- The shirring is in good condition. It is not stretched out and still has the correct amount of elasticity except for the very top line which doesn't seem to shrink any smaller. I don't recall if this was supposed to be like this.
- The original washing instruction label can still be found inside the dress with the spare waist tie button attached. The AP label is also present.
- Both waist ties and neckties are present.
- The dress has been cleaned thoroughly to the best of my ability before listing today. It has had an oxy bath, a gentle spin cycle in the washer and a steam.
- In my opinion, apart from minor cosmetic yellowing/discolouring and small staining, there is no major damage to this dress as the structural integrity is good and all parts are present and intact. I have made my best effort to secure any sewn on pearls, tulle and buttons that seemed to be loose so it will arrive to you in a good wearable condition.
- The hook and eye are present at the top of the zip.
-  To me, the over-all colour of the dress looks consistent. Apart from the particular minor areas of yellowing I'm about to disclose below, the skirt and main bodice of the dress look an even colour to me. It has not had any contact with sunlight in it's time being stored with me. Any of the yellowing I'm about to detail comes from skin contact and not external damage. 


** DAMAGE: **

Things that have fallen off and been re-sewn:
- One waist tie button has been resewn.
- Some of the tiny pearls inside the sleeve dethatched when washing and have been resewn.
- One loop for the back-lacing is missing right on the top row.
- Some candy tulle on the skirt came detached and has been hand sewn back on.  

- One of the tiny bows on the sleeve is losing it's shape a bit but they are pre-sewn and I haven't tried to amend it. Other tiny bows on the candy wrappers are also losing their shape.

STAINING:

Yellowing/discolouration from age and wear can be found on several points around the bodice:
- Most notable on the inside, top of the bodice. It is yellow on the inside where the fabric touches the skin.
- Neck ties are stained/discoloured yellowish in comparison to the bodice of the dress. Not really noticeable when wearing.
- Armpit areas have discolouration in comparison to the rest of the dress.
- The lace around the sleeves also has discolouration, is noticeably not as pink as lace on other parts of the dress.
- Tiny spot stains can be found around the dress from food stains.(soy sauce..) I will try my best to highlight all these in the photos but they are small.

- I don't believe the skirt has any major discolouration. I believe the main body of the dress is consistent in colour with the discolouration being limited to the neckties, lace and inner areas.

I will ship anywhere as long as you are prepared to pay the cost so you may also bid without enquiry if you are prepared to pay. I will NOT ship uninsured or under declare this dress so do not ask me.

I don't expect payment to be made all at once if it sells for a high price. I will be sending the buyer a paypal invoice, ticking the box to allow for partial payment. This will allow you to make payments into the invoice. I will not ship the dress until the full amount is paid.
