Hi, the waist measures about 15 inches across when the back is unbuckled. For a size reference, I have a 30 inch waist at the moment and I find this dress just a little tight (but wearable).

Hi, the measurement from the shoulder seam to the waist seam is about 16.5 inches. Because the waist seam in the front is tapered down, this measurement is from the shoulder seam to where the bust princess seam meets the waist seam. The measurement from the shoulder seam to the back waist seam is 15 inches.
