This AATP "Who Killed Cock Robin?" dress is a lovely piece from 2012 that was inspired by the English nursery rhyme of the same name. The rhyme, in turn, possibly originated as a reference to the death of King William II, who was killed by an arrow during a hunt. The JSK is a rare example of an AATP piece with full back shirring, and so is somewhat plus-size friendly! In addition to the full back shirring, this dress also features rose-shaped silver buttons, oodles of tulle lace around the neckline, and a sparkling net-hem trim in black and silver. The dress is also made out of a lovely dot-textured fabric, which is difficult to capture in pictures, but it adds a layer of detail and elegance to it. I am the second owner of this dress, though I suspect the previous owner did not wear it at all. I wore it about 3-4 times, and it has been stored away in my closet under a protective cover ever since. 

Condition: the dress is in good condition overall, but it does have a few small issues I'd like to note. The strap buttons are somewhat loose and could use some sewing down, and some of the stitching by the elastic loop on the back of the bodice was coming slightly undone, so I repaired that carefully with a few stitches of my own in black thread. I have included photos of this small repair as well as a comparison between the two elastic loops so you can get a better idea (the repair is boxed in white).

Also, there is one small spot of pinkness on the white part of the print on the inside of the neckline, which I am not sure is actually part of the print's shading. I've photographed it just in case! But since it's on the inside of the dress, it is invisible when worn.

Lastly, the waist ribbon is missing (and to be honest it didn't match very well anyways, LOL), but I think any ribbon of a suitable size or color could be looped through the holders at the waist for an equally refined look! The dress is in good shape otherwise, with no damage to the hem netting and lace, no flat shirring, etc.
