Can you please tell me how much shipping would be to the USA (California, 91367)? Economy methods preferred if possible, and I'm fine with envelopes. Thanks much for your help!

Hello! Thank you for your interest. For insurance purposes, I usually estimate the parcel weighing over 500g for the shipping quote. However, if it weighs less, I will refund any difference. With limited tracking, shipping will cost $36USD. (if under 500g, the shipping is $22USD). I am not prepared to send by airmail unless payment is by gift. Thank you for understanding! Have a lovely day!

So, just to clarify, the whole payment for the dress would have to be as a gift through Paypal, regardless of shipping methods or amount? Also, is there any way of weighing the dress ahead of time to learn which amount it would be? Sorry, not sure if my questions make sense. Thanks much for your time and information!

Hi, yes that's right. Because airmail cannot be tracked, there is a bigger risk that lost items cannot be found. So I won't be willing to send it via airmail unless I can be insure (by a gift payment). However, just for your interest, airmail is only about $6USD difference from tracked shipping methods. :D As for the weight, unfortunately I don't have any scales to try it at home. From my experience, an AP skirt (heavier with inbuilt pannier) is just under 500g, and a JSK is usually over. However, since this dress doesn't have an inbuilt pannier, it might be borderline the 500g threshold. But if you would like (and if you are very interested in the dress), I can pack it and take it to a Post Office to double check for you :)

I would prefer to have the tracking method and figure it's safer for both seller and buyer. So, just to make sure I understand correctly, if the higher cost shipping method is selected, then you are will to do regular invoicing with the payment through Paypal being for goods, not as a friend payment? And do you add on any Paypal fees or are they included? Sorry for so many questions. I do appreciate your time on this. And yes, I am very interested in the dress, although, of course, I'm unsure how high the bidding might go, so there are no promises. If not too much trouble, if you have time to stop in to the post office in the next few days before the auction time, I would like to know which side the weight might come in on. Over here we have self-serve machines that will give the weight and avoids having to stand in line. So if you have something similar, that would be great. Also, I'm fine with envelopes...can deal with wrinkles...and I've had full dresses shipped in the plastic ones before. So, if you're able/willing to consider that, it might drop the weight down, boxes usually being heavier. Thanks so much for your help!

Hey, not a problem! I appreciate your questions before buying ^^ Yes, tracking is definitely more reliable. That't right, I will send a paypal invoice for goods when/if you win and you will be fully protected by Paypal buyer protection if anything happens. I don't charge any Paypal fees. Only the winning bid and shipping. I'll visit the Post Office on Wednesday/Thursday to weigh the parcel. I usually use tough plastic envelope bags supplied by the P.O to ship things. I've never had problems with that yet, so I understand that will help with keeping the weight lower :) I will get back to you on Wed/Thurs. Thank you kindly for your patience <3

Just checking in with you to see if you've had the chance to stop by the post office? If it's too much trouble, don't worry about it. I don't mean to put you out. Thanks! --Jill

Hii! Ah yes I did! The parcel is literally borderline. 498g including the packaging which is just plastic. So that should be the cheaper rate $22 :) thanks for your patience! x
