I've hesitated to give feedback because I hate saying anything negative, but I did not have a good experience. I messaged the seller directly before buying the item, and asked what condition the coat was in, and the seller replied that there was NO damage and specifically NO stains, so I went ahead & bought it. It arrived wrapped in a plastic bag and was VERY obviously stained in multiple places (like someone had splashed coffee or tea on it) both front and back, and did not appear to have been cleaned, it had hairs and fuzz all over, plus dangling loose button strings and crumpled lace. Luckily I photographed it while unpacking it and the stains were visible even before I fully unwrapped it. I contacted the seller & asked for a full refund (including shipping) & was greeted with some hostility initially and an offer for a "partial refund." I contacted the admins for support since I had photos & screenshots of everything, but the situation just got weirder. The seller agreed to a full refund, but only if I sent it back to a different address from the one from which it was originally shipped, which would have possibly ruined my chances at reimbursement through PayPal if things went badly, so I declined. Seller gave a confusing reason as to why the item was shipped with damage (& why they did not to know about it). Since I understand that things in life get complicated and the seller was theoretically in the middle of moving to another country, I decided to let it slide. I soaked the coat with homemade wool wash/stain remover, very carefully worked on the spots myself, and steam-cleaned it to disinfect, & it looks & smells much better. I'm thinking about donating it to charity since it's cute warm wool and it would bring a happy end to this odd situation. I would recommend asking questions before buying anything used online in general, even if it didn't ultimately save me any money in this situation.
