This was a bizarre transaction from start to finish. First, the buyer messaged to ask if we could do a trade, so I asked what she had. When she told me, I politely told her that none of the items she listed were really my scene and I would just like the money. She then tried to offer me all sorts of items, to which I again declined. She then said she didn't know what to do and didn't think she had enough money, which I ignored, however she bid on the dress, so I assumed that meant the issues were over. Only after bidding and winning the listing did she ask for me to give her two weeks to pay. As I was aware, it's common practice to ask terms of buying and payment BEFORE bidding on an item, however I brushed it off and said it was fine. I message her after three weeks, as I thought maybe she might need a bit more time, and she sees this message, however does not respond. I message her again a while later, to which she does reply, saying she had been away and hasn't seen my message, even though I saw my message was read. It has been over a month since the original transaction at this point, bear in mind. She tells me to send across an invoice, which I do, and says she will pay me on tuesday when her money comes through. I thought this would be the end of it, however she did have an unforeseen medical appointment in london, which she would need money to travel to get to and book a hotel for. She therefore said she would be unable to buy the dress. While I am understanding of why the sale did not go through in the end, she begged me not to leave bad feedback for matters out of her control. The latter part with her medical appointment and the final cancellation of the sale, I do understand, however that was not the main issue regarding this interaction. I would not trust her as a buyer again.

We did a swap - she offered two dresses for my one. The dresses took about a month to arrive, but they were just as described when they arrived (she even included a little gift!). She is so sweet and I've enjoyed chatting with her over e-mail throughout the process. Her responses were always prompt and she is very friendly! I enjoyed the swap and would happily do another in the future.
