For an ILD, I made a tricorn hat for our nautical themed party. It is black and navy themed that ties under the chin with a ribbon. The hat features a black plume, lace, trims, and a blue fabric inlay that mimics ocean waves, also accented by sand dollar charms on the sides. There is a also a black-sailed pirate ship that I made. It rests in the brim and attaches with a magnet, so it's optional, but damn, it's a cool ship, so you should have it in your hat. 

The necklace has a larger sand dollar that matches the charms on the hat and is beaded with navy blue class pearl-like beads. It ties with a ribbon, but you could add a clasp if you want. 

Only worn once the event. The idea for the hat is inspired by a Google search for pirate themed Lolita, and an image search for cool looking pirate hats. Photo is of me at the event @redleafcosplay
