These were custom-ordered off Etsy. The extra skirt layer helps improve the silhouette of a bell-shaped petticoat. The materials and construction are durable and safe for machine-washing. There is some *very* minor pilling to the lace, see closeup to determine if this is bothersome to you.

These bloomers are designed to sit slightly below the wearer's natural waist. Unstretched hip/waist measurement is 28", maximum hip/waist dimension is 40". Legs gather with ribbon and fit a maximum thigh circumference of 22".
