This JSK is 100% cotton, very thin, soft, and breathable perfect for summer wear. It is a true sax blue, though a warmer toned blue, and the print is a mix of very pale pink, beige, and brown tones. This dress has a true white cotton lace trim. There is no shirring and no stretch. I recommend this JSK for someone within a 36-38 inch bust and a 29-31 inch waist for the most comfortable fit.
This dress has been modified. I removed the white lace trim from the straps and used the original large, detachable waist bow to lengthen the straps. In my opinion, this dress was unwearable for it's intended bust size as it was. I made them a little overlong and used pins to adjust the length as needed, see photos.
There is a small hole near the zipper and some loose threads that tend to catch as the zipper is pulled up. The zipper needs to be completely pulled out and replaced for a true fix, I only did a small mend and it's still a little tricky. I usually pulled on the dress and zipped it before pulling the straps over my shoulders to make it easier. See photos for damage.
The bonnet and brooch are just crafts, I made the bonnet from a thrifted straw hat and hot glued the trimmings. It is trimmed with silk flowers and maribou feathers.The brooch is flowers glued to a felt base with a two way clip and 2 ribbons on the back so it can be worn as a brooch, hair clip, or slid onto a headband.
