I bought the dress secondhand and it came to me with the alterations, it's very cute but doesn't suit me like I had hoped.
I have two cats who are not allowed near the clothes, please be aware if you have allergies.

Can you estimate how much longer the straps are altered (the plain black portion)? Also, do the bottom of the original straps have button holes? Just wondering in case I wanted to make them shorter again. :)

About 3" added, and no the original straps don't have button holes any longer, but the added portion does so in theory you could just remove a bunch of the added portion and sew the original to the part with the button hole (if that makes sense).
